WOW
- Short for Windows on Windows, WOW is a method used with Microsoft Windows to keep track of each 16-bit, 32-bit, or 64-bit DLL loaded by 16-bit applications. If those applications happen to crash, WOW determines if the associated DLL files should be unloaded.
- Short for World Of WarCraft, WOW is a MMORPG developed by Blizzard and first released November 23, 2004. In the picture to the right, is an example of a character in the World of Warcraft game.
