About Safari

Safari

In January 2003, Steve Jobs announced that Apple were developing their own browser; Safari.

Earlier, Mac systems used Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer as the default browser.

The first official ("out-of-beta") Safari version was released in June 2003. In April 2005, Safari became the default browser for Mac systems.

As many of Apple's products, Safari is known for its sleek design and ease of use. Safari is available for Mac and Windows systems.
