YouTube

Sometimes abbreviated as YT, YouTube was founded in February 15, 2005 by Steve Chen, Chad Hurley, and Jawed Karim and is a popular video sharing service that allows anyone to post any appropriate video or vlog.
Once posted, other YouTube users can post comments about the video, post their YouTube video responses, or rate the video. Videos that are uploaded to YouTube are converted to Adobe Flash files so all users can view the videos without having to worry about getting extra software or plug-ins. Below is an example of a YouTube video Computer Hope made called "The YouTube Cast", which features over 500 still shots from YouTube videos.

On October 9, 2006 Google announced plans that it was purchasing YouTube for 1.65billion a deal that later was completed.
