Back-side bus

Sometimes abbreviated as BSB, the back-side bus is a computer bus that connects the CPU to the L2 Cache and was first introduced with the Intel Pentium Pro. The back-side bus is a part of the CPU and has a speed that is dependent on the speed of the processor.
