WordPad

WordPadMicrosoft WordPad is a free rich text editor included with Microsoft Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP, Vista, 7, and future releases of Microsoft Windows. Microsoft Word is able to create, edit, and save their documents as a plain-text file (.txt), Rich Text Format (.rtf), and Word for Windows 6.0 (.doc) format (Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME users only -- XP does not support .doc). In Windows 7, users can now save their document in an OpenDocument (odf) format.
